Telehealth involves providing therapy and counseling services via secure video, phone, or digital platforms rather than in person.

Confientiality
Telehealth sessions are conducted using platforms designed to protect privacy. However, clients are responsible for:

Client Responsibilities
By participating in telehealth services, you agree to:

Notify your provider if you experience technical difficulties

Understand that sessions may need to be rescheduled if technology issues prevent effective communication
Emergency & Crisis Situations
Telehealth is not appropriate for emergency situations.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency:

Contact your local crisis hotline
Clients must disclose their physical location at the start of each telehealth session in case emergency services need to be contacted.
Consent
By scheduling and participating in telehealth services, you acknowledge:

That you may withdraw consent for telehealth services at any time
Telehealth Eligibility
Telehealth services are subject to state laws and licensing requirements. Services may only be provided when both client and provider are physically located in jurisdictions where the provider is licensed.
